スタジオカラクサは、飯野夏実が主催する工房です。陶器、モザイク、ピサンキなどを制作しています。
オリエントからシルクロードを経て日本にも伝えられた唐草模様、ロマネスクの教会にもアラベスク装飾にも、奈良のお寺にも、古今東西かたちを変えて現れる植物模様は、工芸や装飾美術の豊かな歴史を表すキーワードのように思い、命名しました。唐草模様はどこまでも途切れずに続くため「永遠」のシンボルでもあります。
Craft Studio Karakusa is Natsumi Iino's studio for ceramic, mosaic, and pysanky.
The term "karakusa" refers to the Various designs of swirly and intertwined plants and trees.
The karakusa designs reached Japan by the oriental Silk Road. Used in Romanesque churches, arabesque ornaments, and
temples in Nara(Japan), the karakusa design is a keyword that represents the historical richness of craft and ornamental art.
Because the karakusa design is a continuous pattern it also symbolizes "eternity"

武蔵野美術大学と京都伝統工芸大学校を卒業
2010年よりスタジオカラクサを主催
